Lauren Mullings is a multi-arts producer and artist, who has designed festivals and campaigns for almost twenty years. Cutting her teeth animating disused spaces in the London’s Docklands, she moved into large-scale multi-arts and music festivals in the UK, Europe and Australia.
Outraged by the poor representation of women of colour in the arts, she set up an agency, Cleverb!tch, to advocate for better cultural safety and inclusivity for artists and audiences. The bold, unapologetic ethos of Cleverb!tch lives on through her most recent projects; from the bass superfan event Heavy Congress @RISING Melbourne, to the laid-back Jamaican Music & Food Festival, celebrated industry showcase St Kilda Film Festival and First Nations-led FUSE and Ganbu Gulin events.
